Employee Assistance Program (EAP):

Law enforcement members perform a difficult job in prolonged stressful conditions; employee safety and wellness is more important than ever. Police and public safety workers may not be well informed or have convenient access to emotionally supportive services. This is one reason that as many serving police officers die by their own hand as those who die in line of duty assaults or accidents. Post and Associates has developed a network of professional mental health providers who have expertise in serving first responders and trauma survivors, and who stand ready to provide confidential services to agency employees. Our web-based programs are inexpensive and easy to access. Each client agency is provided with a custom designed web page that is tailored to the needs of their staff.
